ANNUAL JACKPOT INCENTIVE AWARDS
Conditions of Entry
- Nominees must be current financial members of the A.P.P.A. Inc and all ponies must be registered with the A.P.P. A. Inc.
- A.P.P.A. Inc Youth and Pony point cards to be used and filled in and signed as stated on the card, all events in EFA, HSAA & APPA Inc Rule Books accepted. Program of show to be supplied.
- Points will be credited on the following basis: 3 Points for Supreme, 3 points for Grand Champion, 2 points for champion, 1 point for Reserve Champion, Championship Shows- Double points, National Show Triple points. Points as High Point of a show for eligible events.
- Nominations will be accepted at anytime between August 1 and July 31 in each Competition year. And the list of ALL nominations and accumulated points will appear in every Newsletter.
- All the monies paid into each separate section will paid out to the winner and Runner up of each separate section at the rate of 70% and 30% respectively. Winners to be notified from 30 days after 31st July, and names to be published in the following Newsletter.
- There will be twelve separate sections, entry fee for each section Will be $10 per pony and/or Youth.

This Annual Jackpot Incentive Competition by no means takes place of the A.P.P.A. Inc High Point Awards or any other incentive schemes.
PROGENY PLAQUE AWARDS
For males and females whose progeny wins a Grand Champion, at Halter, and any progeny who wins Overall High Point Performance Pony at a National Show.
These awards to be :
Male awards
Bronze 4 (individual ponies)
Silver 7 (individual ponies)
Gold 10 (Individual ponies)
Female Awards
Bronze 1
Silver 2(individual ponies)
Gold 3(individual ponies)
These points apply to both Halter and Overall High Point Performance Pony.
RULES
- The production plaque system is a means of recognising Palouse Ponies properly registered within the Rules of the A.P.P.A. Inc which have proven their superiority in the field of Halter and Overall High Point Performance Pony.
- Ponies are eligible to win only one Plaque per category in both Halter and Performance.
- Any One Pony may win one Grand Champion at Halter, and win only one Overall High Point Performance Pony at a National to be counted for the progeny Plaque.

R.O.M. Halter
Qualifications for R.O.M.
(a) 30 Points in any one event
(b) 8 of these points in A class shows
(c) or 16 points in B class shows
(d) Any combination of two of the below
(e) 1st in a class of 6 twice
(f) 2nd in a class of 7 twice
(g) 3rd in a class of 8 twice
(h) 4th in a class of 9 twice
(i) 5th in a class of 10 twice
(j) 6th in a class of 11 twice
R.O.M. General Performance
Qualifications for R.O.M. general performance
(a) Total of 40 Points
(b) In a minimum of 3 events under saddle
(c) With a minimum of 3 points in any one event
(d) 8 of these points in A class shows
(e) Or 16 Points in B Class shows
(f) Any combination of two of the below
(g) 1st in a class of 6 twice
(h) 2nd in a class of 7 twice
(i) 3rd in a class of 8 twice
(j) 4th in a class of 9 twice
(k) 5th in a class of 10 twice
(l) 6th in a class of 11 twice.
CHAMPION CERTIFICATE
Qualifications for Champion Certificate
After achieving your ROM you can qualify for your Champion Certificate
(a) 75 points in any one event in the show and Performance Contest manual.
SUPREME CERTIFICATE
Qualifications for Supreme Certificate
After you have achieved your Champion Certificate you can qualify for your Supreme Certificate
(a)120 points in any one event in the Show and Performance Contest manual.
SUPERIOR ALL ROUND PONY
That recognition be given to ponies who continue past the Supreme to be all round Superior Pony.
(a) must have earned Supreme rating in Halter, having earned 120 points or more
(b) Must have Supreme Rating in One performance event having earned 120 points or more
(c) Must have at least 3 ROMs in Performance(this does not include a ROM in General Performance)
POINT CARDS
POINTS FOR THE ASSOCIATION AWARDS
The top copy of the Point Card must be forwarded to the Official Point Scorer (green for pony and blue for youth).
Youth points MUST be on Youth Point Cards(blue), $10 per Book and are available from the Registrar.
Points are not eligible for ponies used in Youth events, only for the Youth.
Youth Points will NOT be allocated if written in on Pony cards and Pony Points will not be allocated if written in on Youth cards. THEY MUST BE ON SEPARATE CARDS.
Point Cards must be received by the Point Scorer within 30 days of the show, for points to be allocated. If over 30 days a Penalty fee of $10 per pony to be paid. If over 60 days point cards will not be accepted.
NEW SYSTEM FOR ASSOCIATION POINT CARDS
Point Cards will not longer have to be forwarded to the registrar, for the following shows as from 1/8/85
National Shows
Championship Shows
A Class Shows
B Class shows
The Point Scorer will record the points from the Show Secretaries Results. Members will continue to send in point cards for agricultural and other non- approved shows. All point cards MUST have the height of the pony written on same.
As from the 1/8/85 members must nominate only One regional Branch for which they will be competing for Annual regional Branch High Point Awards.
SHOW POINT CARDS
The full name of the show MUST be given
The address of the show Society MUST Be given
Full registered Name of Pony MUST be given and also registration number.
The name of the class MUST be given , not the number from the Show Schedule.
Show Schedule MUST accompany point Cards.
Green Copy to be sent for Pony Points.
Blue Copy to be sent in For Youth Points.
Points will not be allocated if on one card.
Books of Point Cards are $30.00
